I had a great night on Saturday, celebrating a friend’s 50th birthday, we stayed over too, so no fighting over who gets to drink!

I performed at the Thamesmead festival so that was great, only to be followed by a phone call later that night about a loved one being in A&E which was… not so great. 7 stitches later she’s OK now but Saturday turned into an impromptu 20 hour day for us all.

My son is teething so it was a loud and not at all relaxing weekend. When we were able to convince him to sleep though it was great, caught up with the Olympics and caught up with some sleep. Such is the glamorous life of a new parent.

Haha! (sorry, i shouldn’t laugh), but i remember those days, i definitely don’t envy you, but it will pass, my son was no trouble at all, but my daughter on the other hand, she somehow knew how to push my buttons!

Enjoy your sleep, whenever it happens!

Saw Spider-Man 2 in the cinema on Friday, standard Saturday and then it’s been my goddaughter’s birthday today which was nice. Slightly marred by losing my car key, starting an hour-long search only to give up,go to the party and find the key in the present bag. 🤦‍♂️

I also went to a friend’s 50th party. We stayed in a local hotel. Was great to meet lots of new faces. Their new house was very impressive. My daughter had a little too much to drink and suffered the following morning. The birthday girl was dressed in bright pink and looked great 👍
