When the war started, I had an idea about Western companies sending emails (photos, videos, explanations) to their employees and newsletters to their subscribers in Russia. I hoped it could raise awareness about what was happening in Ukraine, and why, and maybe even help in “starting a revolution”. I even made a little graphic about the idea.

People on Reddit thought it was unrealistic and dumb, and I agree that it was wishful thinking for a revolution, but I also don’t think it’s a bad idea in itself.

Not only that, let me hide whole dumbass channels. Then apply a similar function at Google search so I can spare my eyes from seeing a 1000 temu ads with each result.

It’s a paradox for sure. I have this exact thought everytime I do something I think of as morally good. Then I’m bashing myself for thinking that way, and then I wonder if I need to become a monk or something to completely rid myself of that initial thought. Then I forget about it until it happens again.
