Sure. Why not? It’s not like the next R in office wont do exactly that anyway.

If he went to their homes and strangled them himself?
I was actually think of him pulling a Vlad the Impaler and inviting them over for dinner.
The UCMJ isn’t just guidelines. It’s actual rules. And murder is still illegal.
If there’s anything I learned from the Trump years, hell even the Bush II years, is that there are no rules if no one enforces them.
“If you don’t like it, then don’t look.”, said same demograph that can’t stop obsessing over Disney being “woke”.
To be fair, the VP did organize a coup against him.
Does this mean the President can murder the SC members they don’t like and replace them?
That’s just Frank Miller’s Batman.
This is one of those topics that Wikipedia really shouldn’t be used for.
The coups that the US has involved themselves with that succeed, succeed because they were supported by the people. Lazerpig goes over it in his How to kill a God. The video started as a commentary on the Putin Carlson interview, but expands into a debunking of Color Revolutions.
Lol, I got shouted at for just recognizing Michael Moore. Besides, I’ve been masking so long, I’ve been invited to represent my county in state ag issues and I’ve been tilting things to recognise Climate Change.
No, it means I’m lying to them. If I say I don’t agree with their politics, I’ll get an ear full. If I lie and say I don’t follow politics, I can diplomatically end that discussion branch. Grow up liberal in a conservative family and you’ll get it. I’m not convincing these geezers of anything and I don’t want to waste my social energy trying.
Yeah, that’s the real story. They’re dragging out museum pieces. People who have been anticipating the T34 showing up are getting real excited.
oh, I know people don’t care.
Unpopular opinion, Voldemort is a boring villain with puddle deep motives. He should never have survived the first book.
That’s probably why I never got a Signal account. Normally, I would point to FireChat, but that was discontinued. Looks like Mesh.im is a replacement? I’ll have to look more into it. Encrypted, p2p, and mesh connections via LAN means it can’t be shutdown if the internet gets restricted during protests.
are you going to get everybody you meet to learn PGP.
When the alternative is to risk getting sent to the front line as a bullet sponge, yeah. Then again, any lgbt people practicing proper infosec isn’t going to be visible to surveys like this.
The CIA’s ability to SUCCESSFULLY coop a government has been greatly exaggerated by… the CIA. Seriously, think of how many times they failed at killing Castro.
Sound simpler to just use Signal or an encrypted email.
That only works to avoid creeps online. A government would have the resources to track down the paper trail of who bought the burner.
What always gets me about those people is if it’s real art, the artist is putting their message into the story. When I was young and in the target demographic, I stopped reading halfway through because the message of the story was getting confusing or annoying. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a main character get more selfish in their character arc. I later found out that Harry’s solution to owning a house with severed heads everywhere was to put doilies over them during the holidays.
The books are bad and where probably only tolerable in the beginning because of the editor.
But you trust corpos?
Also, all that stuff is standard movie industry prop material and is well documented. Here’s one listing from Smooth-on with the Safety Data Sheet right in front. It would be harder to get the toxic stuff. If you’re unsure, just ask the maker for the SDS. If they don’t know what that is, then run.
People need to stop stereotyping cities as liberal havens.
The only thing you’re interested in is showing how much of a bigger person you are on the internet. What we’re doing is speaking about all the ways this is fucked up and hypotheticals about how it can go wrong. For a lot of us, this isn’t new. I my political life time alone, I saw 8 years of rights being eroded by the Bush II administration with no real push back and once Obama go in under the promise of fixing things, a whole lot of inaction on rolling back any of the rights violations.
The powers that be are taking advantage of how distributed the responsibilities of government are. If it’s so easy to lose rights, why is it so hard to gain them back. There’s always someone else to point at for why that is the case? In Nazi Germany, that was called The Banality of Evil. I see that everyday when some injustice is hand waved away as being too ingrained to do anything about. Police Reform? Too hard. Effective Climate Action? It would hurt the economy. The SC is eroding our rights? Have to wait for someone to die or retired(lol).
