Josh Howard was canceled back in 2008 for saying he doesn’t celebrate the Star Spangled Banner because he’s black… 10+ years later and doing that is cool.
That’s the trap I wasn’t able to read up on. Not a problem anyway kasi wala ako balak irenew lemmy domain.
This protest was beyond a joke, it’s a farce. lol.
Bam Aquino, gross. I’m never writing that conservative cuck on my ballot.
Wala ng confi funds e, so it’s a hollow position for someone who has a passion for education as much as Anthony Kiedis has interest on anyone over 23.
Jason Kidd, Jamal Mashburn, and Jimmy Jackson. Disbanded and traded one by one after locker room turmoil caused by Toni Braxton LMAO
Welp Dallas.
I’m friends with some atheists and a LaVeyan satanist (which is technically an atheist) and they’re amazing. They attend weddings (and behave like they’re having the time of their lives on the dance floor), have no problem participating in religious practices (e.g. prayer before an event), doesn’t even bring up their belief unless asked, and are very respectful of other religions even if that respect isn’t always reciprocated.
Sa internet lang ako nakaka-encounter ng dipshit atheists (particularly on Reddit), and they’re honestly more insufferable than the most cockshovingly arrogant fundamentalist.
And then after a month or two, the movie you enjoyed watching and want to see again is no longer available. That’s one reason why most people still buy physical media or sail the high seas.
Yung lalagyan ng condiments yung pagkain (calamansi with pancit or hot sauce sa pizza) and deciding for everyone when they could just take their own portion and apply it there. As someone who hates putting anything on my food, it pisses me the f off.
Same here, mostly because I’ve been a Mavs fan since the early 90s. I’ve witnessed the entirety of the Nowitzki era and the Three Js, and now Luka.
When people assume a certain team has all the advantages and going to curb stomp someone, it usually doesn’t work out as they expect. I feel like Dallas is going to have a gameplan for the Celtics spacing and steal a few wins. It’s not like they haven’t seen a five-out offense before. OKC had one when Giddey sat.
I checked out r/philippinesbad and I actually liked it. While it was designed to whine about r/PH, they at least take the time to disprove why the thread is wrong unlike sa r/2ph4u na iyak at conspiracy theories lang about the moderating. If nagre-reddit pa ako, I probably would have applied there as a dual mod. lol.
And about Australia, hindi ako nakatira dun but most of my relatives are and nakapunta na ako dun. Kahit bayaran mo pa ako 1 million to live there, I won’t. And to think proud na proud tayo na Telstra was supposedly going here, lol. May racism to the point na yung car ng pinsan ko vinandalize with slurs while parked outside on a party. Ang aga magsara ng mga shops. Food is expensive. Insulin is expensive. Lahat expensive, haha. Yes, malaki sweldo but that’s to cover the high cost of living.
But may mga okay din naman about the country. I’m just saying that it’s not all hunky dory as most people make it out to be. I’m not going to a different country just to start over and slowly make my way to the top. If that’s you, then good for you and I wish you all the luck. But I’m fine here being able to enjoy life even if it’s not exactly something you could brag about.
Tag-ulan na yahoo! Mumura na rin kuryente!
Parang Los Zetas lang ah, lol.
I mean sure, annoying yung mga nagco-comment ng ganyan… but these are fossils with antiquated mindsets. Hindi na kasi dapat pinapatulan mga ganyan. Their insights are as valuable as the lowest troll.
The sad thing is, gagamitin na naman fuel yan ng mga antinatalist/child-free gen Zs with their just as idiotic and pompously tone-deaf takes.
Using the internet in Australia was quite the eye-opener. I thought I was back in 2005 with how slow it was (I believe it was Telstra that my tita was using at their house) and then you get a lot of dead spots with mobile.
Kind of makes you wonder if the ZTE deal wasn’t rife with corruption.
iirc Francisco Motors yung nagsabi na gagawa raw sila ng EV na jeeps but sell it at what it’s actually worth instead of the 3m price that the co-ops are foisting.
Edit: Yup, sila nga.
The problem I have with history teachers (at least from my experience) is that they tend to have a bias on how they teach it. I’d prefer that they just explain everything as is and let the students decide.
A good example is this, the Marcoses. I’m so sick and tired of the Marcos era being taught in such a black and white way. Puros na lang human rights this, Voltes V that. Or if you’re pro-Marcos, infrastructure this, heinous crimes punished that. No mention at all of his complex relationship with the Americans or lord knows what else was buried because the narrative is always drastically on either side and walang middle ground.
