Yes, SELinux is enabled (in “enforcing” mode) by default in Fedora. In my experience, it doesn’t hamper usability.
I remember seeing old advice from blogs and listicles about turning it off, on the theory that it might get in the way. But it’s better to leave it on if you care about security – especially if you want to learn.
When SELinux blocks a piece of software from doing something sketchy, an alert is generated to explain what happened and why. That’s rare but it’s a learning opportunity for you, not to mention preventing a potential security threat.

Romopolis, by the same developer, is also free right now. It’s usually $4.49 according to the Play Store page.

Is that an Aniwave app? I thought they didn’t have an official app.
Tildes fits that description. The posts are text-only or links to websites. No memes.
I use that site in addition to Lemmy, not as a replacement but a supplement. It’s just a different flavor of discussion.
It’s invite-only but I can give you an invitation code if you’re interested. Take a look, see if you like it, and send me a private message if you want an invitation.
Maybe it’ll be the SWiitch.
I was going to answer this but I can’t remember.

What made me happy this year: I started playing the sport of Disc Golf regularly with my friend and my wife.
Thank you.

As an American myself, I encourage you to keep your natural accent. We’re a nation of immigrants built from people who originated all over the world. So there’s not just one recognizable accent here. Nobody’s accent is superior to others. I’ve known people from other countries who are self conscious about their accents. In response, I tell them honestly that I appreciate the way they sound. Variety is the spice of life, as the saying goes.

As a progressive, liberal Christian, I wholeheartedly agree!
Thank you for highlighting this fact. For another example, the Episcopal Church has LGBT clergy, and performs marriages for LGBT people. It strongly emphasizes welcoming everyone with no exceptions, and supports lots of social welfare programs. They even oppose legal restrictions on abortion. Liberal Christians are out there but they don’t make headlines in most cases.
I have no use for those threads. Thanks for asking, and for moderating.
