What exactly is “easy” and “simple”?

Is for example port forwarding easy? For someone who never heard of router, IP and ports it could be a very difficult task.

Is using docker easy? For someone using it daily for work it probably is.

Wouldn’t easy answers not just end up in step by step guides? Which helps someone to archive the goal by blindly following steps and copying commands, but at the end the person would not know anything he did.

Don’t get me wrong, I surely would subscribe to that community, to help some people out, or ask questions myself. But I think it will turn in a similar one as the ones you already mentioned, maybe just a bit more furry themed ;). Which sounds fun too.

Just being interested in furry stuff makes someone furry in my opinion. But finally you are to decide if you call yourself furry or not.

There is sadly no general solution to get rid of the loneliness-feeling. But since I’m a bit in a similar situation I can tell you what I did and am trying to do:

• Accept most real life invitations of friends/family/colleagues, also when you feel your “inner-self” not willing.

• Don’t overfocus only on your interests, be open for new stuff. Sometimes it is interesting enough to just listen to interests of different people.

• Don’t think about you being alone. Redirect your thoughts somewhere else.

• Find yourself an online pen-pal, with whom you write at least one msg per day. For example in my community !fur4fur@yiffit.net. Online contacts are not as good as IRL ones, but IMO it is still better to have a one-to-one conversation with someone, than just consuming content on social media. A heads up with finding people online, I only recommend that when you have a “thick fur”, since people on the internet are strange and mean sometimes.

• Mainly try to find friends, not relationships. The latter should technically come on its own, when your social network grows.

It is a very difficult topic. Ngl I have even troubles sleeping, since that discussion post is haunting me. I’ve noticed that I start to contradict myself, which I hate.

I still think it is wrong to criminalize and harass based on fictional work. But we still should give ourselves boundaries.

I see what you want to achieve, as everyone with common sense should.

But still, how about:

• No content that glorifies or normalizes sexual acts with beings visually and behaviorally similar to real life entities that require special protection (like minors and animals).

This should still exclude ferals, since they are sometimes only visually similar to real life entities, but certainly not behaviorally.
