I’m genuinely gobsmacked at that one, they really think their theory is worth more than the firsthand experience of others?

Like, I sympathize on that point, honestly. Firsthand experience is often dogshit, hence the ridiculousness of ‘common sense’ solutions. But when the vast majority of people who’ve experienced it are telling the same tale, you have to step back and ask yourself why.

But, but, but, they’ve watched TicTok videos and stuff. They probably are experts on infectious diseases, vaccines and Ivermectin too.

It is typical on Reddit to say “I’m at home and it’s raining out”, only to have multiple people insist that I don’t know how to look out the window. It’s too bad those assholes are migrating to Lemmy.

They believe their theory is worth more than most people’s lives, and apparently more than their own, because they most surely would be liquidated after the revolution.
