This community isn’t designed to sway tankies minds, nor do they want to be challenged on their views, none engage in the tankie-friendly thread despite the rules being more relaxed there.
Do you think your point still stands despite them saying, ‘They weren’t civilians’ and that they deserved it? Or is your point that it’s fine to celebrate the death of civilians but not raping civilians? Or do you think rape shouldn’t be mentioned (even though it happened to the attendees) because the tankies want the civilians killed instead? These are odd priorities. And I didn’t claim that you specifically were defending them, apologies if it came across that way, that wasn’t my intention with my questions. I initially thought that you were upset that I was highlighting what happened to the civilians prior to their murder, even though that’s how some of the attendees were killed, being raped to death.
