There are things I’d like to see improved in the game - some are obviously big, and some appear to be very small. A couple of the very small things I’d like to see are:

Summons auto-heal or de-spawn when destroyed.

  • There are some summoned combat pets that don’t have timers, like Saucer Separation or the JHVC Heavy Attack Craft. When these are “destroyed”, they just… stop. There’s no indication that they’ve been destroyed, and if you notice then you can unsummon them and start the cooldown. I’d like to see them automatically despawn on destruction or, better yet, get an automatic repair function like the Jem’Hadar Vanguard escort ships or some NPC ships in certain missions.

Fleet project auto-slot.

  • It’s a big problem in fleets if there are no projects slotted, preventing anyone from earning fleet credits. I’d like to see a check-box to automatically slot the last completed project for fleet holdings. There are very few projects where this wouldn’t be valid, and it could keep things moving even for mostly dead fleets.

I understand software development enough to know that not everything is as simple as it seems, but both of these requests rely on existing systems rather than new system implementations. So in my mind they are low-hanging fruit.

I’d love a loot filter. It’s already tedious to click loot one piece at a time, doubly so when 3/4 of it is completely worthless loot boxes or single units of commodities. Just give me an option to never see the junk. I’d be willing to go with “never see any loot” because honestly, it’s extremely low value but lots of visual and UI interaction clutter.

I’d prefer an “auto-sell” function myself. Drops can be a good source of EC, but it’s annoying having to visit a vendor or give up 10% to recycle items. It would be great to have a function that automatically picks up items and sells anything under a certain quality level, perhaps excepting consumables and upgrades. I’d even turn that on of it used the lower 40% sell value.

Imagine that - just fly through a cloud of drops and end up with a couple of items and a big bag of EC.
