In the mornings I like to put on cooking shows. The way I handle it now is a playlist I’ve added the few shows to and I hit shuffle but I get a lot of repeats. Is there a way to only play/shuffle unwatched episodes? In Plex I did this by creating a smart playlist that only had unwatched episodes and that had show titles I wanted. I know Smart playlists aren’t supported yet by Jellyfin (fingers crossed)
Which client are you using?
Found a way on the Windows client. If you go to the playlist overview screen and on that page is a filter. You can filter all the playlists to “Unwatched” then on the playlist you want to shuffle you click the 3 dots and “shuffle”. You don’t go into the playlist itself. It seems a bit convoluted but it does seem to work.
