Nerd in the Streets, Juggalo in the Sheets?
I just came across this, I havent setup NextDNS yet, but I’m hopeful that it’s need completely removed.
Thanks for the reply, I’ve needed to setup something like NextDNS for a while just been lazy about it. Think it’s time to dive into that world next.
Sorry to revive an older topic, but that link is dead and I dug around but could not find the —metric=false flag on the website. I hope this is still the case. I love the app as a way to capture a stream of my mind but it freaks me out a little that it’s sending data elsewhere.
I sure hope so!

Swiftfin is iOS/tvOS and it’s still early stages and needs a lot of work. Infuse on iOS/tvOS works better but is a paid app to play all but the most basic formats.
The Roku app, from my experience, is the best client for Jellyfin. But if you’re an Apple household I recommend looking at Infuse.

At your core you know the answer to that question, and you are ok with it.

Found a way on the Windows client. If you go to the playlist overview screen and on that page is a filter. You can filter all the playlists to “Unwatched” then on the playlist you want to shuffle you click the 3 dots and “shuffle”. You don’t go into the playlist itself. It seems a bit convoluted but it does seem to work.
So after doing so additional digging I found, on the forbidden site, that this is a left over from Emby code that all Collections are public domain. Anyone that has access to collections can Create, Add, and Delete collections/collection items. While I think this could be beneficial in certain cases I don’t like that all my hard work could be easily undone by a friends kids messing around. I know u can tell my friend not to mess with them but it’s not a guarantee someone won’t accidentally add or remove something. It would be nice if we could have an option to lock it (which “Lock this item to prevent future changes” does not prevent these changes)
I once made one of these monstrosities (very tasty) it was leftover spaghetti and I used those Texas toast butter garlic breads and smashed it in a sandwich press! I sometimes dream about doing it again. Idk if it was a magical scenario hung over and all the right portions were aligned and if I try it again it won’t live up.

I had errors on my 2nd parity drive the other day, smart test was all good and they disappeared after a reboot. How do you do a “Read Test”?

Plex and Jellyfin won’t be able to assign permissions to an Album/song level it’ll be just at the library level.
