One of the most infuriating things in this game is reputations. I absolutely hate going through reputations for new characters. I don’t mind earning the marks, because that’s playing the game, but I loathe going through and clicking every single rep’s dailies. Each one is 4 clicks, assuming you’re holding down the Ctrl button; that’s 52 clicks just to get through the reps - for 50 days. And when you hit one of the tier breaks, that’s another whole set of mouse clicks. Plus the boxes that pile up in your inventory. I know the dailies provide dil, and the boxes contain either elite marks or items that can be sold for EC, but I would gladly give up the dil and EC for a longer project. Give me 10- or 20-day projects, let me load them up once and then go on with actually playing the game for a couple weeks before I have to do it again.

Let me say that again - I would gladly give up the dil and EC from dailies in favor of 10- or 20-day projects.

And of course it doesn’t help that the horrible, insulting cash grab button is sitting there at the bottom - $30 per rep, and only to get to Tier 5, for one rep, for one character? That remains one of the most anti-player decisions that they’ve made in the game. That button needs to go away - don’t even reduce the cost, just get rid of it.

So, yeah. Clicking through reputation projects pisses me off.

Reps and all the other STO “mini-games” (ha, yeah right… games are meant to be fun…).
Selling junk for EC, R&D, Duty Officer assignments, not to mention the insidious and horrid modifier slot machine.
