    Plotting anything by absolute numbers instead of per capita basically gives you a population map.

          As per Wikipedia,

          • Florida: 22,610,726
          • Arizona: 7,431,344

          The deadly intersection rate in those two states in particular is roughly the same, coincidentally.

          • 22.61 / 7.42 = 3.04
          • 257 / 82 = 3.13
