The election is almost 7 months away. Anything can happen between now and then…especially with 80yr old candidates. Some people are losing the day worrying about a tomorrow that may never come.

Speak up or never be heard.

I prefer to say it like this:

“Speak up, or someone else will speak for you. And you may not like what they have to say.”

If Trump has an aneurism until then and finally taps out of life I might actually entertain the thought that god exists and cares.

Dumbfuck wannabe couchlocked wannabe “leftists” in the U.S. Too lazy to go agitate for the change they want, more than enough energy to make memes and whine about genocide.

Were you not agitated by the result of the 2016 election?

It’s like you didn’t even read what I said and just saw the word “agitate” and typed the first snarky comment that popped into your head.

                Summer 2020 was nice.

Where’d all the Bernie fans go? There was supposedly this huge grassroots movement behind him but when the DNC didn’t want him (surprise right?) they all just took their ball and went home.

That I have to explain what “agitate” is, is pretty telling.

Great. Can you name any material outcomes from those agitations?

I understand the term just fine. Plenty of people were agitated by their loss in 2016. If they want to win in 2024 they should be begging for our votes.

I also see “Democrat party” a couple times in your comment history, which is another thing I have literally never heard outside the conservativaverse

Actually, I do. Everyone acts like the president is a king, but you tend to lose seats both nationally and locally even under a popular president like Obama, who hemorrhaged seats at every level his whole tenure. Trump acting like a jackass in public will lead to democrats who do not worship Netanyahu as their only God getting elected to congress and to state level office. I’ll take that over the cult of Bibi at the presidential level every day of the week.

WTF are you talking about? The Biden admin has been more critical, and gotten more concessions from Israel than any President. I suppose it’s not perfect, but isn’t action better than talking?

It’s obvious that after Michigan and Wisconsin Biden has bent to Leftest demands, are you even capable of recognizing a W?

Same with climate change. Biden’s infrastructure bill is the biggest investment in climate we’ve ever had. Did it fix the problem for all time? No, but who else is even moving the ball?

I swear, If Biden got every American an ice cream, certain leftists would turn lactose intolerant.

It’s the biggest investment in climate when compared to the pathetic inaction by previous administrations, but most of it is still throwing money at companies and hoping they do the right thing. Even the evil empire known as China, which is a second-rate economic power, has done far more to combat climate change than the US. It’s pathetic.

I swear, If Biden got every American an ice cream, certain leftists would turn lactose intolerant.

If biden shat in your mouth, you’d be telling us all that it was the most delicious ice cream of all time.

Our votes are worth more than a few empty threats. Stop providing weapons. Make a material compromise not symbolic measures.

Yeah, people say that, but I felt awful when Obama murdered that 16yo Denver-born citizen with the drones the DNC had been crying crocodile tears about for 8 years, because I campaigned, donated, and voted for him. I didn’t vote for Biden in 2020 on the premise he’d do something unconscionable like he’s currently doing, and I think it was the right choice. Had Trump won in 2020, we’d almost be at his term limit. Now we get 4 more years of him anyway, but now he’s even angrier and even more of a messiah figure to his followers.

If Trump was president right now Ukraine would be gone and you’d be partially responsible for making that happen by not getting Biden to 270 electoral college votes.

lol- well your taxes still fund everything the US does. Your foot is still on the accelerator but you think the right answer to the trolley problem is ‘let Jesus take the wheel’.

But yeah, sounds like you in particular probably shouldn’t vote and let more rational people decide what death and destruction your taxes go towards ;)

I would encourage you to consider voting for independent candidate. That way its more “I would vote for you if you weren’t a madman” rather than “I’m someone that doesn’t vote.”

Hope that makes sense, I’m tired

I used to vote. If you vote for a third party, in my experience, the DNC is just going to go 😭 “SPOILER! We would have gotten all of that candidate’s voters if only ballot access were even more restrictive than it already is!” 😭 And post-Perot they’ve already rigged it water tight at the presidential level, so it’s futile, even if everyone wanted the third party to win. As long neither party in the duopoly collapses, those are the options for president.

If for no other reason go vote for the ballot initiatives. You don’t have to vote for a single candidate but the ballot initiatives are essentially direct democracy with tangible outcomes to your community. If you cant support that then you’re wasting your time even thinking about politics and letting all that negativity in your head.

Arguably, Dems losing seats during Obama’s tenure was due to their lust for chasing rich corporate donors instead of working to materially improve the lives of working class citizens.
