I’m not saying you’re wrong about stereotypes, but I am saying you’re terminally online if you truly believe that it’s a small group.

        Smaller

        Relative statement. Didn’t say small.

Just because everyone will get the joke doesn’t mean they relate to it or like it. In case you haven’t realized, gender rules are a little more unders scrutiny these days. Jokes reinforcing them aren’t going to be as popular.

I don’t appreciate the “terminally online” line. That dig was uncalled for.

I said smaller I did not say small. Words have meaning, and you don’t get to obfuscate my meaning then claim I am being pedantic when you are the one who literally started this by analyzing the word “smaller.“

You started this, this entire discussion is happening because you took issue with one word. Piss off.

i used to read the funny pages when i was like 5 back in the 90s, so whether I was the intended audience or not, that kind of humor still got to me.

Dude come on. You know what I am saying. It was written by boomers primarily for boomers.

I also read the funny pages as a kid. I also saw rated R movies when I was 10. I was not always the intended audience. The humor in comics was classically pretty dated and made obvious for broad appeal. I mean Cathy? Family Circus?
