Instead of simply exhaling sharply through my nose, thinking there’s no way Russian bots actually give a shit about Lemmy, now I’m actually convinced that you’re a Russian troll.
You’ve posted about 100 comments a day since joining about a month ago. The longest gap between comments I can find is 6 hours. So at the very least, you’re a troll and terminally online.
In a number of these comments, you go way out of your way to tow the Russian propaganda line. Derailing your own points just to clarify that you didn’t say the thing that coincidentally Russia doesn’t want people to say.
Simping for Putin doesn’t quite explain why you’d care if someone said crimea was invaded or annexed. But being paid to spread propaganda sure fits the bill.

It’s unhinged. Do they really think everyone with a different opinion is part of an orchestrated plot? Are they so deep in their echo chambers that they can’t conceive of someone having a different opinion? Are they unable to respond to different opinions without accusations of trechery?

It’s definitely getting repetitive, but when we know that there is a substantial Russian disinfo machine out there and support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine is such a consistent theme in these people AND Putin is one of the major beneficiaries of the general turn towards right-wing authoritarianism (because when our politicians say and do the same things it legitimizes those antidemocratic elements of his own regime), it’s not an unfair connection to keep drawing.
The most compelling argument to not call them Russian troll farmers would be for them to simply stop saying all the things a Russian troll farmer would say.

It seems to me that the main reason we hear so much about foreign disinformation is because it’s a boogeyman to stop you from questioning your country’s narratives.
