For some reason or another, Ada has a problem with Mind Traveler. Ada claimed Mind Traveler’s communities and posts were causing trouble, so Ada made a few demands of Mind Traveler, who followed through with those. While Mind Traveler stuck to the agreement, Ada went beyond that and banned Mind Traveler. Ada is keeping the drama going on while Mind Traveler is sticking to the rule book.
Mind Traveler and Liberty Hub are on good terms with one another. Mind Traveler was unbanned and made comments working towards collaboration. There’s no conflict there. Mind Traveler shut down their “controversial” Non Voters, just like Ada said. c/Soulism was a philosophy site not even related to mocking, so it was an even lesser non-issue.
If Ada had stuck to Ada’s word, everything would be fine.
If Ada had let people freely associate, everything would be perfectly fine.
Instead here they are stirring up a stink and trying to start some pissing contest when everything is literally fine. All this underhanded rigamarole on Ada’s part is disturbing to me.

A raw opinion for its opinion’s sake… I’m not sure it’s a fitting post for something of such gravity, in the instance’s meta community.
Here’s where Ada said they banned Mind Traveler, who posted that they locked the community, just like Ada asked. They said there was no need for the community since everyone was friends now. Then, Ada came alone and had some kind of issue with it. Ada is the only one starting fights.
So, there was a community called “non voters”, created by MindTraveller?
Ada locked it down for not confirming with the spirit of the instance (I’m going to shallowly read into the name of the community, and say that the lock seems fair, from the outside).
Then, it reads to me like MindTraveller made another community, which was also taken down, and got him banned along with it.
Why did those things happen? Why was a second community made? Why was it banned? Why are you claiming that it was an unfair ban?
Honestly, if those points aren’t clarified, Ada appears to be really reasonable from a bystander’s perspective.

the person banned for genocide denial really seems like they would have their finger on the pulse of the instance they were banned from!
My only experience with Mind Traveler was them engaging with almost every single comment in one thread, seemingly stirring up stuff. I’m not sure about others, but to me that’s not how I want anyone to interact with a forum such as Lemmy. I don’t want half of the comments in a thread to be from a single user trying to argue every single other person, being as noisy as they can be.
Also, what is your stake in this? You aren’t a particularly active user, at least from what I can see from my Lemmy instance. There might be reason to believe you’re an alt account of Mind Traveler or a friend trying to push some narrative.
Besides, if anyone is not happy with the actions of our Lemmy admins, which are unlikely to change, why not just move to another instance? That’s the beauty of the fediverse, after all. Unless, of course, they aren’t welcome on other instances either.
Please, no more drama or attempting to discredit Blåhaj Lemmy admins.
