Ohhhh after seeing the trailer I bet you any money you’re right. I guess the one nice thing is that area also is good for farming exp. So if you are needing to access it quick it might not be so bad…

I reallllly hope we don’t have to finish the story to jump into the DLC. After an almost 200 hour first playthrough I thought “oh man I want to do this again!” I got a quarter way through NG+ and put the game down and didn’t get around to finishing it.
I loved Elden ring as a concept, I think it was an extremely interesting twist on the formula. However for replayability I feel like it suffered heavily. The vast open world takes a long time to get through (mainly if you’re really trying to beeline directly from point A to B.) And if you need specific items or materials I feel like having to replay the various tombs /mini dungeons would be more chore like than fun.
I only came to this realization after playing demon souls and bloodborne for the first time recently. There’s very little filler a person would need to go through when replaying those older fromsoft titles. I’m so torn though because I really liked exploring in Elden Ring.
Sorry for the novel lol
I fear for Jet Set Radio. Edit: nevermind i guess they are trying to ruin that too
At least we got Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
First Shenmue got all messed up and now this. Nothing is sacred lol. I hope they reassess their head in assery
The only games I’ve been paying full price for are games that I have been looking forward to for a very long time/games that I know for a fact I will 200% enjoy. Otherwise I’m waiting for steep sales of at least 50%, but usually more.
The only exception are Nintendo games because they rarely go on sale and when they do it’s not a super amazing sale price. But because of that I buy way less Nintendo games and only buy the ones I absolutely know I’ll enjoy. It’s a lot more rare that I’ll take a risk.
I feel like it was the past month or two? There’s supposed to be a Nintendo direct soon which might tell us more. Lots of speculation as of now. Only thing that I’ve read is that it won’t have an oled screen
Compared to how little my salary increases each year? Yeah they sure feel that way
Does this include gamepass downloads? Either way that’s great. I’m glad Atlus has recently brought their games over to PC and xbox
I’m only nervous that Microsoft will stop developing Xbox’s. If we’re eventually forced to move to a digital only system, I want some kind of guarantee that customers can always access the games they paid for. Otherwise I think sharing games with other consoles is a great idea as long as the added development doesn’t eat into the games overall quality
Something in my gut tells me they might stop making consoles and move towards subscription services. Which seems like we’re repeating 2013 all over again. Which would be a major shame because it took them a decade to come back from their stupid decisions with that console.
Rouge likes. I just can’t get into them. The only one I was able to sink any kind of time into was Hades. I actually enjoyed it a decent amount, but I find the gameplay loop for roguelikes just wears me out pretty quickly
Sometimes we just don’t like certain genres. I’ve tried dozens of times to get into rogue likes and I cannot get into them. I enjoyed hades decently enough, and I could get to the boss. But the gameplay loop always gets repetitive for me. It’s weird!
Lmao I can see the tipofmyjoystick posts in 15-20 years
“Hey so I played this game on a laptop, it had a red guy and it was turn based and everything had these flat visuals. It might have been a playstation game because I remember using a ps4 controller”
I want to like this gane so badly but I can’t seem to get past the ARR content.
My biggest issue is that aside from dungeons there isn’t really a good reason to group up. It kind of felt like my friend and I were just playing a single player game where we could see each others characters lol. I figure one day I’ll just need to sit down and chug through that content to get to the good stuff
I purchased a physical copy for once, so that’s a no go for me. However I did get it on sale so it’s not quite as bad as it could be.
I’ve found this happens at least once a year or so. So I’ve just come to accept it haha.
Once again I’ve paid the game pass tax. I just bought dead space last week lol
I kinda wish they would announce upcoming games sooner or something. It makes it hard to determine if you should buy something or hold off indefinitely
I’m honestly not a fan. But I’ll probably get used to it fast enough.
What I am surprised about is that they didn’t get tons of voices and lines to just reuse for the next 100 years and opted for a new voice actor all together.
Maybe not the best comparison considering in the past couple years inflation on food has been artificially inflated due to corporate greed.
I wouldn’t mind paying slightly more for games if the money was actually going into developers pockets.
All that being said though, unless it’s a very specific title, I’ve been waiting for sales for the past decade. I only buy a game or two for full price a year (usually Nintendo because they rarely do sales)
On one hand constant updates and continuing a games longevity can be nice, but in reality it usually just means fomo which I despise.
Just a suggestion, but I’ve heard you might need to adjust your playstyle for certain missions.
Did you mean The Outer Worlds or Outer Wilds?
